CMI Adds Moderator to Fast-growing Qualitative Research Group, Names New Qualitative Field Director
ATLANTA, March 13, 2008 – CMI has added a fourth moderator to its fast-growing qualitative marketing research group. Bronwen Clark has joined CMI with more than eight years of experience conducting qualitative research for Fortune 500 companies, industry coalitions, political candidates, nonprofit organizations and public interest groups.
Clark, who completed the Master Moderator Certificate Program™ from the RIVA Training Institute, will be part of the CMI qualitative group, which offers a variety of research methodologies including in-depth one-on-one interviews, dyad and triad interviews, usability research, focus groups, ideation, facilitation and ethnographic/observational research.
“We’re thrilled to have attracted someone of Bronwen’s caliber to enhance the depth of the group,” said Hannah Baker Hitzhusen, who directs the firm’s qualitative research functions. “Bronwen brings us particular expertise in communications research focused on health care, health policy, financial services, education and social marketing, and she is steeped in the fast-paced environment of political campaigns that also characterizes our work in marketing research.”
Prior to joining CMI, Clark spent more than three years as a senior analyst and then as director with KRC Research, a Washington, D.C.-based full-service communications research unit of advertising, public relations and marketing services conglomerate Interpublic Group of Companies. She began her research career in the D.C. office of Lake Snell Perry & Associates, a public opinion and political strategy research firm.
In addition to her RIVA moderator training, Clark’s education includes a bachelor’s degree in political science and international studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and courses toward a master’s degree in journalism and mass communication at the University of Georgia.
In her leisure time, Clark enjoys traveling, running and attending independent films. She resides in Atlanta’s North Druid Hills area.

Scott Taylor also joined CMI’s qualitative research group as qualitative field director. His role is to interface with the group’s vendors to assist with project execution and to ensure the quality, cost effectiveness and productivity of qualitative field operations.
Taylor joined CMI from Jackson Associates Marketing Research, where he spent more than 14 years, the last 10 as a project director. For six consecutive years, he was the recipient of the Jackson’s Star Award – the company’s top honor for the most productive, dedicated and profitable manager of the year.
Taylor attended the University of Rhode Island, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in English.
Taylor, who resides in Roswell, Georgia, is an outdoorsman who enjoys biking, golf and water sports such as fishing, kayaking and sailing.
